Has brown markings at the very tip, a large identifying orange tip and a blackish hairy body but otherwise is mainly white.


Uniquely identifiable characteristics : the orange section on the very tip of the topside of each forewing. Flies in gardens, grassland and meadows, prefers feeding on flowers of the Brassicaceae Family, such as Cuckooflower (a cardamine from which it derives its latin name), Garlic Mustard, Honesty and many others.
