Grows on the ground in deciduous or mixed woods. Almost spherical to begin with it slowly expands and flattens out. |

The cream-coloured velar remains are irregular like small corn-flakes and quite un-like those on its sibling Fly Agaric. They are ready to flake off. |

The gills are white and fine. Here they are hanging off somewhat. The stipe (stem) is cream-coloured too. |
