Fruits have a torroidal appearance too un-like those of Lesser Water-Plantain which have a knobbly appearance like those of Buttercups. The three sepals are now spread flat out. |

| Leaves taper abruptly to join the leaf 'stem' which is thin but curved for stiffness. Leaves have fainter yellow veins and are all aerial with no other leaves underwater un-like Lesser Water-Plantain. |
