A fat and squidgy hairy caterpillar. Is black at first, but soon turns green.

Has interupted black bands with raised yellow blobs.

The yellow blobs have beteen three and eight short black hairs, plus perhaps one very much longer blavk hair.

Uniquely identifiable characteristics

Distinguishing Feature :

The moth itself has two concentric circles similar to those of the Peacock butterfly.
